(upbeat futuristic music) - [Instructor] Let's look at some panel data analysis challenges. This will help reinforce the knowledge you've already gained from the previous videos. Using the NLSW panel data, the first challenge is to explore the variable south. Use panel data descriptives to explore this variable and examine how many people transit to and from the south. Next, estimate a Pooled OLS regression model, a Random Effects regression model, and a Fixed Effects regression model for log wages. Use the variables hours worked, south, and the lag and lead of south. The final challenge is to select which of these three models should be used.
