Generating output in AutoCAD
- [Shaun] Welcome to this AutoCAD output course. What we're going to do in this course is get you through how you can output your designs from AutoCAD, how you can communicate your design intent using the tools that AutoCAD provides you with. The whole idea of your AutoCAD output is that you're getting that output from the design stage, out to the people that might be building your building or manufacturing your product. You can see on the screen, at the moment, that I've got a ground floor plan open. And the whole idea of that ground floor plan is you want to communicate that design to, perhaps, the contractor that is building that building and laying out all that furniture in that particular ground floor plan. That's the whole idea of AutoCAD output. If you go to the output tab here in AutoCAD, you'll see that we've got various tools available, that allow us to output our designs and communicate our design intent. So let's get going now and you can follow me, Shaun Bryant, as we look at how we output our designs in AutoCAD.
