(gentle music) - [Instructor] Hello guys, and welcome. So in today's lesson, we're going to talk about the Amazon S3 Transfer Acceleration and the Amazon EBS Provisioned IOPS. So what is the Amazon S3 Transfer Acceleration? Well, this is a bucket level feature, which is designed to accelerate the long distance file transfers to and from the Amazon S3. It's optimized for speed, so it uses the Amazon CloudFront's edge locations in order to route the data efficiently over optimized network paths. It also ensures faster and secure data transfers. So some of the benefits of the Amazon S3 Transfer Acceleration includes faster data transfers, so it accelerates long distance uploads and downloads, reducing the time required to move the data across geographically distant locations. It also avoids internet routing issues and congestion by using the optimized AWS network paths. And it fully utilizes your available bandwidth in order to deliver better throughput.
