- [Instructor] In this lesson, we're going to use the AWS console to create a database in an AWS Glue catalog that uses an S3 bucket for its source data. All right, let's begin. Start in the AWS console and go to the S3 console by searching for S3. And the first thing we're going to do is create a bucket to hold our data. So let's click Create Bucket and leave all the settings as they are. But you have to create a unique bucket name for this bucket. I'm going to start my name with dea-course. And then to make it unique, I'm going to put some initials or put my name after it and you should do the same. And then maybe if you add some random numbers as well to make sure that the bucket name is unique. Okay, keep everything as it is and then click the Create Bucket. Now we're going to click on the name of our bucket. Now click on the Upload button and choose Add Folder. And let's add the amazon-data folder in our course downloads. Click Upload.
