All right, now let's take a look at one of my favorite new features that was added to Blender 2.9, OpenVDB. At first you may ask yourself, what is a VDB? It is a collection of voxel data that you can bring in from other software like Houdini or EmberGen. Those programs are really awesome at generating simulations like fire, wind, or smoke. However, you have to render them in those programs. With OpenVDB, however, you can export it from Houdini and bring that…
