- [Instructor] When the device enrolls into Intune, it receives several sets of instructions. Some of those instructions tell the device what it can do and others tell the device what it can't do. These instructions are called compliance policies and configuration profiles. First let's take a look at compliance policies. Compliance determines what a device's posture must be in in order to be considered not a risk to the organization. So compliance is a baseline of a healthy device. There are three considerations in compliance. The compliance settings, we'll cover those, the enrollment restrictions, which set up baseline globally, and a device compliance policies, and we'll be setting those up the next video. Next let's look at configurations. These policies are what a device can do and vary greatly depending on the device type itself. So these are set organizationally and determine both global and specific configuration.…
