Set up authentication for your Copilot
- [Instructor] To secure data access and provide a personalized experience in your copilot, you need to set up its authentication method. Let's see how to do it in Microsoft Copilot Studio. Select copilot. For example, Explore California. In the menu, click channels. You can publish your copilot on multiple channels, like Microsoft Teams, demo website, custom website, and many others. However, by default, most of them are grayed out. This is because we need to configure our authentication method before using them. To do that, click settings in the menu. I will click security, then click authentication. We have three options to verify a user's identity during a conversation. The default option is authenticate with Microsoft. It uses Microsoft Entra ID to authenticate users. This option is only for Microsoft Teams and the Power Apps. That's why we saw all other channels disabled before. If we select no authentication, then anyone can use your copilot without signing in. Let's click save…
