- [Instructor] Now that we have Systems Manager running and have created a resource group, let's explore what it's like to patch using Patch Manager. In this case, an administrator in Ohio wants to update the baseline operating system for the web servers behind the load balancer that are members of a resource group. Using Systems Manager, the administrator will invoke Patch Manager to apply patches to all of the instances within the resource group. Let's jump into the console and see how this is done. From within Systems Manager, in the left-hand navigation, I scroll down to the Node Management section and select Patch Manager. The Patch Manager dashboard shows me a summary as to the state of instances in my account.
