- [Instructor] Excel is a powerful tool used by nearly everyone. This includes people with PCs as well as people with Macs. In this course, we'll be working in Excel on a Mac, but no worries. Whether you have a PC or a Mac, whether your version of Excel is a bit newer or older, most of what I'll do in Excel will be the same, or at least very similar to what you see on your version of Excel. Sure, there might be some exceptions, and in those cases we'll provide some onscreen guidance. But since most of the content in this course is foundational, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to follow along. One more really important thing to remember. With both Excel and statistics, there are usually multiple ways to arrive at the same solution. I'll usually show you a few ways to answer the question, but once your Excel skills begin to develop, you may find easier and more efficient ways to solve the problem.
