Train GitHub Copilot to understand your work style
- [Instructor] One of the particularly rewarding things about GitHub Copilot is, as you work with your relevant files open, GitHub Copilot will vacuum in as much context as it can. Now, this guidance is kind of old, because, as you've learned by now, it's not just your open files that are the context, but it can go beyond that. It's going to, when I say it's going to, I mean GitHub Copilot's going to use your comments, any existing comments that are in the code, any that you add, any other attachments, knowledge bases that you've brought in from your IDE. So far, I'm pretty stoked for you actually. I'm happy for you, 'cause if you've been following this course sequentially, I'm hoping that you're seeing repetition and getting lots of opportunity to get some reps in, to get some practice in. 'Cause I found in my experience with generative AI, that the process follows a pretty traditional learning curve trajectory.
