- [Instructor] Let's kick off our learning about variables by looking at the UiPath Variables panel. I'll go ahead and create a new process for this by clicking on Process, call it "Variables." I'll put it in my usual place of C:/developmentUiPath. Of course, you can always put it in a description if you want to. That's just a free text field. I'll leave these set to defaults and click on Create. As part of my normal habits, I'll click on the main sequence and rename this as something relevant, like "ExploreVariables." And I usually double click on this menu up here to give myself more space. Control S to save is a good habit as well. So the Variables panel is down here on the bottom left. When you click on this, it opens up this panel, and it's immediately informing us that we need to select an activity to set variable scope.
