- [Instructor] A 3D view gives visual clarity to an owner and helps to sell a design. It also helps to represent the project on the cover sheet of the set. Let's take a look at some aspects of creating 3D views in Revit. The easiest way to create a 3D view in Revit is by clicking the view tab and 3D view and default 3D view. Now you can see that a view cube and some navigation tools have appeared. This view doesn't look particularly 3D to me, so let's make it appear 3D. You can turn the view around by clicking on the angles or the faces of the view cube. In addition, if you notice, there's this little house sitting over the view cube. When you click on that, it takes you right back to the 3D view that you had started from.
