Organizing databases and projects
- If you're a busy creative working for clients, or maybe you're a business person using DaVinci Resolve for corporate communication, you may get to the point where you're having trouble keeping track of your projects. Let's take a moment to discuss how you can organize your projects and databases to make it easy to keep track of all your work. First, we can organize our databases any way we want. We can create databases per client or per business unit. Some people prefer to create databases per year or per month. There is no correct or incorrect way. But the one thing I strongly recommend you do is get off the default local database. Why? Let's take a look at this. If we reveal the default local database in the finder, you'll notice that the local database is buried in a very out of the way sub folder.
