- [Instructor] On this worksheet called State Totals, we've got two different sets of numbers, and we need to change both of them, but for different reasons. Imagine that the list over here consists of numbers that are indexed numbers that might refer to some economic conditions in this state for a certain month, it turns out that whoever did the calculations made a mistake and these are all short by five. We want to add five to all of these. Now, one way to do this and it would take a little bit of time, we could set up an area down here that's got the same size as the numbers above, and write formulas to add five to every one of those, then we could copy paste and move them around and so on. But let's do this essentially in one action. Put the number 5 in an empty cell somewhere, and simply copy it, Control + C or right click copy.
