Reconnaissance applied to project - JavaScript Tutorial
From the course: Foundational JavaScript Security
Reconnaissance applied to project
- [Instructor] Now we have done some reconnaissance with tools to scan our code and/or you have a tool, like App Sensor, monitoring your activity. So if we take a look at the plan at this stage we have two options. Depending on what your client is asking, either fix the security issues and exploit them to show potential dangers and the damage. And at this stage, it will all depend on the client's objectives, when in most cases they ask to fix the issues and test again and then stress test the application further by finding and seeing if there are ways to exploit the system. For the purpose of teaching you about the issues, we'll move on to explore the issue you may find as you scan the application in the reconnaissance stage.
