- [Instructor] Animations are a great way to assist with your main speaking point. You can have objects ready to go on a slide, but not have them visually cluttering the slide or distracting your audience until you're ready for them to see it. Remember these two slides? I created this slide, and then I wanted to keep the same image but decrease the brightness and put a text box on it. To make these words even more impactful, I'm going to put a delay on them appearing. And then, just to make the slide a little more dramatic, I'll slowly reveal a Red30 logo. To get started. I'll put my logo on the slide and have it all ready to go. So I'll click to insert an image. Here's my logo. This is really big, so I'll resize it and get it all positioned just how I want it. Okay, that looks good. I'm going to select the very first thing that I want to animate, which is my text box. With the text box selected. I'll click Insert and choose Animation.
