Hands-on development in AWS: Summary

- We have reached the end of this course. I hope you enjoyed it. For further learning, I recommend making up scenarios and trying to implement them. For example, you could say, I want to make a social network. You could deploy an EC2 instance and install MySQL and PHP on it. Or you could, for example, use S3 for static website hosting, Lambda for serverless compute, DynamoDB for data storage, CloudFront for SSL offloading, SNS, for notification to users of new posts, et cetera. With the scenario in mind, just try to create it. The free trial account AWS offers should have plenty of credits to put your idea into proof of concept. AWS continues to grow at a rapid pace. I would recommend you stay up to date with developments by following the AWS News Blog, see what new services and features you can use to make your development life easier and your applications faster, easier to maintain, and more secure.
