How can I scale a vector layer in After Effects?
- There are many different ways to work with layers inside of After Effects and if you've got some Photoshop or Illustrator experience, you'll find that many of the tools are the same. Taking the time to get a good professional layout with clean positions and composition is really going to help. Plus there's a lot you can do with the layers to control how they mix together. Let's a explore some techniques. For this section of our course all of the activities are loaded into one movie. I suggest you choose file, save as, and rename it with your initials. Now, what we can do is start at the top and work to the bottom. The first technique I'm going to show you is vector scaling. You may recall earlier that we talked about the benefit of vectors meaning that they could be infinitely scaled. If I twirl this down and look at the transform properties, I'll see scale. I can drag.
