How can I use text animation presets in After Effects?

- Text animation works quite well. It allows you to easily move individual characters or entire lines of text in many different ways. The After Effects text engine is very robust but I suggest you take it one small piece at a time. Now I've gone ahead and opened up a new project that's similar to the one we were just working with. You'll see that the animate end one let's you preview a sample animation. If you take a look at the text layer here, you'll see that different properties were animated, in this case, a foggy animator, and that's creating the animation itself. All right, let's open up the animate comp and select the text layer. You'll find all of your animation controls under effects and presets as a starting point. The category animation presets offers several options and here you'll find things like 3D text or text. What this does is gives you different types of animators that you can open up and use. I've…
