- [Instructor] Cisco has been listening to our customers about the vManage user interface, and has started working on a new version of how the fabric is configured. These changes will take multiple software revisions to complete, but depending upon your needs, you could start to take advantage of the changes as early as the 20.9 vManage software release. When we look at the existing Edge device configuration process, it can be perceived as complicated and non-intuitive. The changes to the vManage user interface starts with how the device configuration is performed. So when we look at the new configuration interface, we can see that Cisco is moving to an intent-based mindset and making the configuration device agnostic, so portions of the configuration can be reused regardless of the platform or device SKU. This will help reduce the problems with template sprawl. Now, Cisco is also adding in wizards to help make the device configuration intuitive and sequential in providing default…
