Application similarities and differences
- Now let's discuss the similarities and differences between Jira, Jira Service Management and Confluence. Here are some similarities between the applications. They all have the same look and feel with similar default colors, fonts, and layouts. No matter where you are in the applications, you'll always see the same top navigation bar at the top of the page. The grid icon on the left is the application navigator. Click it to switch between cloud sites, Atlassian applications, or other linked tools. The next item is the product name and logo image. If you ever get lost, click the logo to return to your homepage. In Jira, the homepage location is configurable for each user. Here's a tip for you and your users. Use the icon in your browser's address bar to determine which application you're in. The first icon in the example is for Jira, the second is for Confluence, and the third is the Atlassian logo.
