- You've seen how to create the story first, and that's how you'll present your data, reverse engineer your data to uncover the flawed, emotional, and unpredictable humans behind it. That's the main challenge. That's what separates data science teams from data analysts. Your job as a data science team is to reveal the humanity behind the numbers. That's why you shouldn't just communicate the information in the language of numbers. Think of it this way. If you ask an AI chatbot like ChatGPT, or DeepSeek to give you a summary of your life, you'll probably get a lot of useful data. It might talk about the city you were born in or the schools you attended. Maybe it will list out your career milestones or even some family history. It will tell you the data, but it doesn't know your story. It doesn't know what motivated you to pursue your career. It can't describe the relationships that you have in your family.
