Dynamics 365 Sales is built on a strong foundation of business process. Think of a business process as a step-by-step playbook for managing sales opportunities. Each stage has specific activities that need to be completed before moving forward. A well-defined business process will be based on established best practices, standardized for consistent activities, well organized, documented for clarity, and ideally, automated as much as possible to minimize potential for human errors. This is an example of a document process. Consider the lifecycle of a document and how it evolves from initiation to publication.
