Changing fields in a list view
- [Presenter] Data is rarely static and probably, the only thing guaranteed in IT is that change will come. So you need a way to adjust field values in tables. Since that's the case, let's explore how to change a field value for one or more records in the list view. List editing is the method to alter field values on a single record or on multiple records at once. Here comes a PSA. This video shows methods that alter data on records. In a production environment, changing data could impact task fulfillment and influence operational reports. So, be careful. If you experiment, do so on records in a sub-production instance, dev or test or QA, or sandbox. Practice on records that you own and make simple changes to very few records, and then revert those changes.
