Story mapping to define features
- A story map will help you organize and prioritize the work that needs to happen to build your product so that you build the items most likely to deliver user and business benefit early in the process. A story map shows each part of the system you plan to build in relation to all the other parts. A typical agile backlog focuses just on the story level, not on the relationship between stories. That makes it harder for people to keep the big picture in their minds as their build each small component. Story maps keep the organization of the whole product visible so it's easy for everyone to see how each story fits into the overall plan. That helps you to determine dependencies and highlight any risks. It's a very visual form of project plan that everyone on the team can understand. Business people often needs a high-level overview.
