- [Instructor] Now we'll dive into flows and maps. Flows consist of a series of steps that lead to a specific outcome. Flows can be used for everything between a signup process into your product or a user journey starting from searching for the product and including all the steps that take you to get to the first time user experience using that product. We use flows to help bring clarity to primary user stories that make up a product experience. A user story is a job that needs to be done to fulfill a user's needs. Before we get started with the flow, think about what flow you're trying to map. This could be a signup flow, a forgot password flow, an onboarding flow, or a flow to complete a specific action inside your product.
