Animating objects using set key
- [Instructor] Let's go ahead and create some animation. I'm going to do a very simple animation. I'm going to take this spaceship and just fly it in and maybe hover it for just a little bit. Now, before I actually get into animating, I do want to turn on what's called resolution gate. Because I want this to come from off screen, I need to make sure I understand exactly where the edges of my rendered frame are. And so turning on resolution gate gives me those edges. Now, in order to animate this, we need to set some keys. Now we want to make sure that we're in our Animation menu set, and then I'm just going to select my object and go into the move tool. I'm going to double click on that move tool and just make sure that my axis of orientation is set to object. And so then I'm going to select that blue axis and just move it all the way off screen. If I want, I can tap my space bar, go out to a four view if I need to maybe go into the top view or something like that to see exactly where…
