- [Instructor] If you are running a Windows PC and want to get your own copy of the installation materials, you'll start at this URL. Click on the Try Now button. Here we'll have three options for running SQL Server in Microsoft's Azure cloud. Scroll down on the page a little bit though and you'll find two options for obtaining a free edition that you can install on your own computer. The Express Edition is perfect for people that want to build databases for their small business. I'll choose to use the Developer Edition though which is more fully featured. It'll be a good choice if you don't plan on using the software for any real world commercial activities. Either edition though will work well for this course. I'll go ahead and click the Download Now button for the Developer Edition and that'll download the installer file.
