- Metasploit is one of the most versatile pen testing tool ever made. In this course, I'll go over this tool from absolute basics and take you to a level where you will be able to run your own penetration testing exercises using Metasploit. I essentially come from a background of penetration testing, including experience on network application and cloud security pen testing exercises. I hold several cybersecurity certifications, including CISSP and ISO 27001 LA. Our agenda throughout this course will be to start with the basic understanding of Metasploit, followed through with the lab setup and installation of Metasploit on our machine. Then we'll take our first look at Metasploit and how it can assist us in various stages of penetration testing, such as information gathering and vulnerability assessment. We follow that up using target exploitation techniques offered by Metasploit and the post exploitation modules. We have separate modules on Meterpreter, which is an amazing feature offered by Metasploit, and various client-side exploitation strategies. We'll be ending this course by giving you ample amount of information on how to move on from this course and practice a lot before going to market. I'm excited to have you here with me as I explore how we can use Metasploit to meet our needs as a penetration tester.
