- [Instructor] Now that we discussed a number of considerations for successful rapid migration, let's create an outline to finalize the overall rapid migration process and discover some steps that will lead you to success if followed. The overall rapid migration process can be outlined with the following rapid planning or the ability to identify the key processes that need to be accomplished to migrate applications rapidly. Application assessment, which means identifying applications that can move rapidly. This includes understanding security, governance and operational requirements as well. Tool selection, identifying the tools that will be leveraged to do rapid migration. This includes testing and deployment automation, application and data migration, or the act of relocating the application code and data to the platform analogs in the clouds, testing and acceptance to ensure that applications are functioning correctly.…
