Understanding Add Point Elevation Base
In this video, we're going to take a closer look at the modify sub elements tool for toposolids and specifically the elevation base parameter. So to illustrate what I mean by that, I've got a really simple file here. We've got a toposolid element here and the modify sub element tool that I'm talking about is this one right here. Now I'm going to click that and you can see that this toposolid just has the four points at each of the corners. And I have adjusted the heights of some of these points. So I left this one at zero. This one here is at 10. This one is 20. And this one here is at five. But what I want you to see is that over here for the modify sub elements panel, there's an elevation base parameter. And there's actually four different choices for where to measure that location from.
