First off, welcome to my course and thank you so much for choosing me as your instructor. I know you have lots of learning options out there, so I'm grateful to have you as part of my student base. If you're interested in my background at all. I've been fortunate enough to have accumulated 30 years of tech experience in a wide variety of industries. My roles have been in development, quality assurance and test automation, and of course, business process automation. I was lucky to be at Apple Computer in the early days where it was really exciting. I've been at Yahoo and I've also had some great experiences at companies like Experian, Pacific Life, and Centene healthcare. At present, I have the distinctive honor of having been selected as a UiPath MVP three years in a row. Only a handful of people in the world can claim that. So I'm proud and thankful to be playing such a big role in the UiPath Community, helping people level up their automation skills. My current day job is VP of Intelligent Automation at a top US bank. And as you're discovering here, I'm also a top-ranked online course author with over 150,000 students globally. While I spent my younger years in Wisconsin and I've lived in other amazing states like California, Hawaii, and Florida, I'm currently based on the East Coast of the United States in Charlotte, North Carolina.
