- [Presenter] Amazon Web Services Backup is a fully managed backup service that makes it easy to centralize and automate the backup of data across AWS services in the cloud as well as on-premises, and it does that using the AWS Storage Gateway. Using AWS backup, you can centrally configure backup policies and monitor backup activity for AWS resources. AWS backup provides a fully managed policy-based backup solution, and it simplifies your backup management by enabling you to meet your business and regulatory backup compliance requirements. There are multiple different types of backups within Amazon Web Services, such as the Amazon S3 Glacial service. This is a secure and durable low-cost storage class for S3 data archiving and long-term backup. Customers can store large or small amounts of data for as little as 4 cents per gigabyte per month.
