- So what I'm going to do is I'm just going to put a one in each box just to make it color it in so identifying the suitable countries is four weeks so I'm just going to put a one in the first four boxes like that then finding a site is also four weeks so I'm just following along the critical path. I'm ignoring all the other tasks for the moment. Buying a site is 10 weeks so that's 10 there, I'm up to 18 which is right. Next is modify the buildings, that's another eight. This does form an opportunity to double check your estimates as well so when you're filling these in you sometime think, actually does that look right? But I'm assuming they're right for the sake of this. Then we install the forms and fittings which is two more weeks and then we open. Now opening is an event. It has no duration so on a Gantt chart you just put a vertical line and the best way to do that is to select the whole column and just use the borders, just do a left border like that so that's the end there so…
