- Authenticity isn't just about you. That's just half the equation. The other half is about the people with whom you're interacting. It's about relationships and building deeper conversations. One approach is to share things and hope they respond. Another less common answer that is every bit as effective is to learn to use questions to kickstart a new dialogue. Questions are very useful devices. First, they turn people into experts. When you're asking someone a question, it implies that you know they have knowledge or an opinion that you will find useful.
