Building geomaps
- [Instructor] A geomap is a great way to show where your trends are occurring. For example, you can understand where in the country that your sales are high. This can better inform your sales strategy, and also inform, probably, where you should be sending your marketing campaigns. You need to target the areas where you're doing well. It's extremely easy to create a map within Power BI. To give you some context, I'm in the Reports view of a Power BI workbook, we've connected to the data source, built a data model, and also built out a few visualizations. First, let's create some space in our workspace so that we can build a map. All you have to do is highlight this bar chart and let's drag this over. Now we have some space to work with.
