- [Instructor] Now in the previous video, we talked about data science discipline, where we split this into two overall key roles. A citizen data scientist, that's a bit more less technical in nature, and those of a technical data scientist that are more algorithmic in nature. Now we're going to introduce you to a new role that's emerged with the advent of AI. We call this "The Citizen Data Scientist with an AI Focus." Now a citizen data science with an AI focus is a person that leverages predictive, or prescriptive analytics, augmented by techniques such as live language models, and user-friendly extract, transform, and load tools. But again, the primary job function is outside the field of applied statistics. Now, where we talked earlier regarding business facing descriptive statistics, we'll do a contrast between those roles that don't use AI, such as traditional citizen data scientists, and now the new role that does adopt AI.
