- [Instructor] Another type of setting that we have in Group Policy Objects has to do with running scripts. Now here's what I think is super cool about having these scripting options available to be applied via Group Policy Object. Especially back in the early days when group policy was first rolled out, people would ask me, they'd say, Hey, I wanted to apply a certain something, can it be done through group policy? And my answer was always and confidently, yes. And the reason the answer is yes, is that if there is not an actual Group Policy Object setting that you can literally do to perform the function that you're looking to do, then you can write a script to do it and then have the script applied through group policy.
