    Why Does Japan Pixelate Pussies And Not Buttholes?

    I was watching a JAV video the other day, and it really bugged me on why the female performer's pussy was pixelated, yet her asshole was not. But then when the male performer either tried to lick or put his finger on the female performer's asshole, then they pixelated it. Very very odd.

    My understanding is that under Japanese law, it is legal to make explicit sex movies (porn) but to be legal they cannot show genetalia (male or female) - an anus is not genetalia.  Pornography is a HUGE revenue earner for Japan, and by making it legal the Government collects big tax revenue

    Many laws changed to conform to Western values. Westerners did not like to see genitals, so they were banned. Butt Anus is not a genital, so you can see it.

    Strangest thing though, is that there is tons of Japanese porn animated and live action, hetero, trans, lady boy, and gay, that is not censored. Go figure!! I served there in the military in the '70s and there are also tons of uncensored live sex shows. Duh!!  :smile:

    According to Article 175 of the Japanese Penal Code, it is illegal to share "indecent materials." The pixelation is a way to get around it. Literally that simple
