This is really good - poetry is the most difficult form, and you are brave to try it (I haven't even dared!). A few of the rhymes are a bit obvious, and the scan doesn't work in all the couplets - some are a bit uneven - but that doesn't affect it very much. Of course, I do like your choice of subject matter!! I have added this to my favourites list - it's actually the first poem there (the rest, like my own stuff, all being prose friction). Keep working at this, you'll get it better each time. |

Nice story, very nice series ... motre please! As a business woman myself, I love stories set in offices or at conferences! I've added this to my favourites too. |

Really well-written, the scene comes to life with real immediacy, and your use of the recurring "caught" theme works very well. I certainly enjoyed this, and I'm quite sure that I'm NOT "a guy" ... but maybe I'd better get Claire to check that out, just to be sure!!!! |
