Losing my place to live was involuntary, I live out of my little pickup and have small fixed income each month. I do my best to stay fit and healthy and presentable; I'm looking for housing so I certainly wish to present well. Homelessness has many faces, but the faces we never see are the road/car homeless like me, instead street homeless are the poster faces seen. When my vehicle dies (any day now) I will be on the street. Until then, as you point out, society will not consider me homeless even though I have no place to live, and have not since 2021...

I do enjoy watching the nomad, minimalist, van life, on the road video content. I’m curious if you are considered homeless, you look well groomed. Is your homeless situation due to housing costs, unemployed or self employed or disabled, receiving disability… how are you getting by and appreciate your insight and perspective.
